Oxfam in the Pacific's Postcard Competition

Competition Details

In the lead up to the historic Santa Marta Conference on Transitioning away from Fossil Fuels, Oxfam in the Pacific is hosting a design a Postcard competition as part of our “A Home Worth Protecting” climate campaign. To participate, you must design a postcard with a visual element and a message that responds to the theme: “A future without fossil fuels – for a home worth protecting”

You can create your post card using digital tools and software OR create a physical postcard, scan it and upload it. Entries will be judged by the artwork + message to determine prize winners, but all entries received will be displayed at the Santa Marta Conference. 

The competition opens on the 7th of March 2026 and will end on the 3rd of April 2026.

Eligibility

  1. Must be either a child (10 – 17) or youth (18 – 35)
  2. Must reside in the following countries: Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Kiribati and Tuvalu

Prizes

Children’s Category:

  1. First Prize: AUD $500
  2. Second Prize: AUD $300
  3. Third Prize: AUD $200

Youth Category:

  1. First Prize: AUD $500
  2. Second Prize: AUD $300
  3. Third Prize: AUD$200

How to enter

  1. Make sure your postcard is saved either as a PDF or an image file (JPG or PNG)
  2. Rename the file for your postcard to follow the format of: FirstName_LastName_Country_Age (example: John_Adams_Tuvalu_19)
  3. Fill out the Form by clicking the "Enter the Competition" button below
  4. Upload your postcard on the link given in the form
  5. Return to the form to complete your details and then submit it. 

Remember after uploading the postcard you must return to the form, complete it and submit it.
